Description
xThe Cielo is HOKA's track model and this latest release brings some of that track heritage to the road. This is the CIELO RD (or road).
What you are getting here is a very light, lowish stack height and only 3mm of drop racing shoe.
It does not have any sort of plate, carbon or otherwise, but it does have a supercritical nitrogen infused PEBA foam which makes it snappy and fast. Remember, 3% of the 4% improvement in the original Nike study (which led to the creation of the Nike Next 4% Shoe) came from the midsole foam, only 1% from the plate.
Its a bit like old racing flat but with the latest technology on the midsole. This can well be your perfect shorter distance race shoe.
